Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Cuttack district reported a significant spike in COVID-19 cases as 25 more persons tested positive for the virus during the last 24 hours. A day before, only five COVID-19 cases were detected in Cuttack.
On the other hand, Odisha reported 84 fresh COVID-19 cases during the last 24 hours while the tally mounted to 338489, official sources said today.
Out of the 84 new cases, 49 were detected in quarantine while 35 are local contact cases.
With this, the number of active COVID cases in the state surged to 661.
