Cuttack’s COVID-19 tally crosses 200-mark; here’re details of fresh cases

Cuttack: Of the 17 new positive cases reported from Cuttack district in the last 24 hours, four cases belong to Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) area.

Active surveillance, contact tracing, and sanitization drive in the concerned areas are underway, said the CMC.

With the fresh cases, the COVID-19 tally in Cuttack City crossed the 200-mark and stood at 202. While the number of active cases stands at 168, two patients have succumbed to the virus.

Details of the fresh cases

Home Quarantine:

-A 63-year-old male from  Pratap Nagari. He had come in contact with a previous positive case from Acharya Harihar Regional Cancer Centre (AHRCC).

Institutional Quarantine:   

-A 72-year-old male and a 32-year-old male. Both were lodged in isolation ward of SCB Medical College and Hospital.

Local contacts:

-A 26-year-old female from Basuli Sahi in Manglabag
