CWG: Team India comprising Odisha’s Dutee Chand, Srabani Nanda in 4X100m Relay Final

Bhubaneswar: India qualified for the Final of Women’s 4 x 100m Relay event at the Commonwealth Games-2022 as the team comprising Odisha’s Dutee Chand and Srabani Nanda, and Hima Das and Jyothi Yarraji finished second in Heat 1 of Round 1.

While Team India clocked 44.45 seconds to finish the race, Team Jamaica topped the Heat with 43.66 seconds. Scotland secured the third position in the Heat with 45.39 seconds.

A total of eight teams– Jamaica, India, Scotland, Nigeria, England, Australia, Trinidad and Tobago, and Ghana– will compete in the Final, which is scheduled to be held tomorrow (August 7).
