Bhubaneswar: With the deep depression over coastal Andhra Pradesh weakened into a depression, Cyclone Asani will have no impact on Odisha anymore, informed Bhubaneswar MeT today.
"Deep Depression over coastal Andhra Pradesh remained practically stationary during last 6 hours and weakened into a Depression over the same region. It is likely to hover around the same region and weaken further into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area during next 12 hours," the IMD stated in a bulletin today.

However, light to moderate rainfall is likely at a few places over coastal and southern regions of Odisha today.
The fishermen have been asked not to venture into the sea till further advisory.
