Cyclone ‘FANI’: Special train to Bangalore for stranded passengers in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: A special train will be run by Ministry of Railways between Bhubaneswar and Bangalore (Krishnarajpuram) for those passengers who have been left stranded due to train cancellation for Cyclone FANI.

The special train, Bhubaneswar-Krishnarajpuram (06562) is scheduled for departure from Odisha capital at 7:30 am on May 15. It will arrive at Krishnarajpuram at 10:15 am on the next day.

With 14 sleeper class, two second class, two guard-cum-luggage coaches, this train has stoppages in Khordha Road, Berhampur, Palasa, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Vishakhapatnam and Duvada under East Coast Railway division. It will also stop at Rajamundry, Vijayawada, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpetai and Bangarapet, en route to Bangalore.

Similarly, this train bearing no. 06561 has departed from Bangalore Cantonment today at 5:30 pm and will reach Bhubaneswar tomorrow at 7 pm.
