Bhubaneswar: Forecasted Cyclone Yaas over Bay of Bengal is likely to cross Balasore coast in Odisha near Chandipur and Balaramgadi of the district as a Very Severe Cyclonic Storm on May 26, as per the preliminary forecast track of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The system is likely to attain a maximum wind speed of 185 kmph as a Very Severe Cyclonic Storm on May 26 around 11.30 am, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasted today.
