Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) in its latest bulletin stated Cyclone Yaas over east central Bay of Bengal lay centered about 450 km south-southeast of Paradip at 5:30 PM today.

The Cyclone over the sea lay centered about 540 km south-southeast of Digha in West Bengal.

The IMD further stated the cyclone will move north-northwestward and cross between Paradip and Sagar Island around Balasore during noon of May 26 as a very severe cyclonic storm.
