Bhubaneswar: A cyclonic circulation is likely to form over northwest Bay of Bengal around July 16, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasted.
As per the prediction of the Regional Meteorological Centre here, there will be 'slight increase' in rainfall activity in Odisha from July 17.
It has also issued rainfall warning (Yellow Warning) for several districts of the state till July 16.

July 13: Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Angul, and Dhenkanal.
July 14: Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Angul, Deogarh, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Nuapada, Bolangir, and Bargarh.
July 15: Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Angul, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Boudh, Sonepur, Bargarh, Kalahandi, and Kandhamal.
July 16: Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Koraput, Gajapati, and Rayagada.
