Cyclonic circulation over Bay around Sept 7; low pressure in subsequent 48 hrs

Bhubaneswar: Amid high humidity, a fresh low pressure is likely to form under influence of a cyclonic circulation over the Bay of Bengal this week.

According to IMD, a cyclonic circulation is likely over east central Bay of Bengal around September 7. Under its influence, a low pressure area is likely to form over west central Bay of Bengal during subsequent 48 hours.

Well Marked Low Pressure Area likely to intensify into Depression over BoB during next 24 hours

The possible low pressure could bring heavy downpour for several parts of Odisha, predicts the regional meteorological centre of IMD.

As per the IMD forecast, there may be two back-to-back low pressures over the Bay of Bengal in two weeks this month.
