Bhubaneswar: A cyclonic circulation lies over central parts of interior Odisha and adjoining Chhattisgarh extending up to middle tropospheric levels tilting southwestwards with height, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in its morning bulletin today.
It is likely to move west-northwestwards to lie over central parts of Madhya Pradesh during 8-10 September, the bulletin added.
The Regional Meteorological Centre here has issued heavy rainfall warning for several districts of Odisha for today.
"Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Cuttack and Dhenkanal" the Meteorological Centre forecasted.
