D-brothers produced in Odisha court in arms seizure case

The Twin City Commissionerate Police today produced gangster siblings Sushant and Sushil Dhalasamanta (D-brothers) before the Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) court here.

D-brothers, aide acquitted by Odisha court in Sheikh Farooq murder case

The criminal duo deposed before the court in a case pertaining to seizure of arms from the residences of two of their associates– Solesh Sahoo and Sangram Routray.

Sushant and Sushil were brought to the court from Jharpada Special Jail in Bhubaneswar and Balasore Jail, respectively. Worth mentioning, the two were shifted from Choudwar Circle Jail here to two separate jails on March 14 for security reasons following permission of the SDJM court in this regard.

According to sources, the brothers were produced in the SDJM court for the final time as further hearing of the two arms seizure cases will take place at Sessions court.
