DA Case: Assistant Engineer under Vigilance scanner

Keonjhar: Vigilance sleuths today raided the residence and office of Assistant Engineer of Anandapur Barrage Division Nanda Kishore Sahu on charges of acquisition and possession of property disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Sources said four separate teams of the anti-graft wing conducted simultaneous raids on his house in Keonjhar, his office and Government quarters at Salapada in Anandpur and his ancestral house in Ghasipura in the district.

Following a complaint against Sahu, Keonjhar Vigilance DSP had directed to conduct the raids.

The exact amount of disproportionate assets that the Assistant Engineer had possessed will be ascertained only after completion of the raids, said a Vigilance official.
