DA case: Cooperative Society MD in Vigilance net

Nabarangpur: Vigilance sleuths today raided the houses and office of Jharigaon Large Area Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society (LAMPCS) managing director Mansai Panka on charges acquisition and possession of property disproportionate to his known source of income.

Officials of the anti-corruption wing raided his residential house and paternal house at at Bharandiparam under Jharigaon police limits, a single-storey building at Umerkote and his office at Jharigaon in the district.

Sources said, the search drive was conducted as per a search warrant issued by the Jeypore Special Vigilance Judge.

The total amount of disproportionate assets possessed by the LAMPCS MD will be ascertained only after completion of the search drives, sources said.
