Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today announced a hike of four percent in the Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (TI) of State Government employees and pensioners.

The DA and TI rate has been increased from 46% to 50%, a release issued by the Chief Minister's Office said.

The hiked DA and TI will be paid from 1st January 2024, retrospectively.

This will benefit around 4.5 lakh State Government employees and 3.5 lakh pensioners.
