Dacoit gang busted in Odisha capital; 4 arrested

The Special Squad of the Twin City Commissionerate police busted a dacoit gang and arrested its four members in Odisha capital today.

Notorious criminal Bala Gajendra alias Suresh is among the arrested, sources said.

Police have seized an Indica car, 30 grams of gold, 2 laptops and one LED TV from the possession, sources added.

The four were involved in several loot cases, police said.

Notably, Bala Gajendra was injured in an encounter with police at Nuagaon under Khandagiri police limits on September 17 last year.

Bala is the prime accused in the loot case at Gandamunda here in which some miscreants had looted an elderly couple of gold ornaments and over Rs 3 lakh.
