Daily COVID-19 cases dip below 1000 in Odisha; Over 100 infectees between 0-18 age group
Bhubaneswar: Daily COVID-19 cases declined below 1000 after four months in Odisha with 868 new positive cases in last 24 hours.
Of fresh cases, 104 infectees are between the age group of 0-18 years, indicating arrival of third wave of the pandemic in the State.
Out of 868 fresh infections, 507 were reported from different quarantine centres and 361 were the local contacts, informed the State Information & Public Relations Department today.
Khordha district logged 256 new COVID cases, the highest, followed by Cuttack district with 154 cases in a single day.
