Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID-19 cases in Odisha declined with 358 cases, of which 47 are between 0-18 age group, in the last 24 hours, informed the State Information & Public Relation (I&PR) Department today.
Out of new cases from 23 districts, 209 were reported from different quarantine centres and 149 were the local contacts.
Total 53,709 samples were tested yesterday, of which 358 persons were found positive for the deadly virus. The State’s COVID TPR now stands at 0.66%.
The single-day COVID-19 cases dropped below 200 in Khordha for the first time in the second wave of pandemic. The district registered 186 fresh cases in last 24 hours.
