Bhubaneswar: Daily COVID-19 cases further declined in Odisha with 4,842 fresh infections in last 24 hours, according to State Information & Public Relation (I&PR) Department.
Of new COVID-19 cases, 671 infectees were in age group of 0-18 years, 2,809 cases reported from different quarantine centres and 2,033 were the local contacts.
Total 63,601 samples were tested yesterday, out of which 4,842 reports came out positive for COVID-19. With this, the TPR dropped to 7.61%.
Khordha district registered the highest of 1,253 fresh infections followed by Cuttack district with 443 cases and Nayagarh district with 210 cases.
