Daily COVID cases in Odisha reaches new high with 4761 infections

Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported another all-time high daily COVID-19 cases as 4761 more persons in the state tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours, official sources said today.

Out of the 4761 cases, 2785 were detected in quarantine while 1976 are local contact cases.

Khordha registered the highest number of cases as 820 more persons in the district contracted the virus.

With this, the COVID-19 tally in Odisha mounted to 377464 with 27821 active cases. The state had yesterday reported a surge of 4445 new COVID-19 cases.
