Bhubaneswar: Amidst the prevailing uncertainties due to COVID-19 lockdown, the Odisha Government today announced that Plus III Final Year examinations in the state will be over by July 24 while exams of final semesters for PG courses will be completed by August 20. While results of Plus III sixth semester exam will be declared by August 31, PG Final year exam result will be out by September 20.
State Higher Education Minister Arun Sahoo informed this after a video conference with Vice-Chancellors of all universities today.
Besides the Minister informed that entrance test for admission into various PG courses will be held between September and October. For this, offices of all universities and autonomous colleges will start operation with 30 per cent staff from tomorrow. This apart, a special committee has been formed to design a blueprint for online programmes.
All the decisions have been taken in adherence to the state Government’s COVID-19 guidelines, said Sahoo.
The Minister will hold a review meeting with VCs of all universities via video conference in every 15 days.
