Bhubaneswar: Governor Ganeshi Lal today appointed Prof. Datteswar Hota as the first Vice-Chancellor of Odisha University of Health Sciences, Bhubaneswar.

Lal, who is also the Chancellor of Universities in Odisha, made this appointment by exercising his power conferred under Sub-Section (7) of Section 9 of Odisha University of Health Sciences Act, 2021.

Hota has been appointed the VC of Odisha University of Health Sciences for a period of one year with effect from the date he assumes the charge as such or until further order, which is earlier.
