Day curfew to be imposed in Odisha!
Bhubaneswar: With rapid spike in COVID-19 cases in Odisha, the state government might impose curfew during day time, informed Assembly Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro today.
“The state government has already imposed night curfew in ten districts in view of the COVID-19 resurgence. Curfew during day time is likely to be imposed in the next 4-5 days. The situation is being reviewed by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik,” said Patro.
Worth mentioning, night curfew (from 10 PM to 5 AM) will come into effect in Sundargarh, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Balangir, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Malkangiri, Koraput and Nabarangpur districts from April 5 till further orders.
