Bhubaneswar: From four-year-olds gleaming with innocence on their faces to excited thirteen-year-olds, they all showed up at the Kids Carnival 2017 in Odisha capital today decked up in colourful attires and full of energy!
The first-ever Kids Carnival and Premier School Exhibition kicked off with a plethora of games and activities in which around 1000 children registered. Schools like Doon International, Delhi Public School, and Happy hours, participated. In the first of its kind event, parents, children and teachers/authorities of various schools interacted.
Six-year-old Anwesa Biplai was decked up in a pretty frock and said while playing with balloons, "I will participate in fancy dress competition today. I am going to be 'carbon dioxide' and tell everyone how bad it is for the environment."
While the four-year-old Rudrajeet Sarkar danced around, his mother spoke to us about her naughty son. Kshipra Mittal, mother of a four-year-old girl said, " I want to encourage my daughter for all sorts of activities. She was really happy coming here!"
After having played bowling, a standard six student from DPS Kalinga, Rita Mohanty waited for the musical chair. She said, "The results of bowling aren't out yet but it was so much fun! I am looking forward to other competitions."
Painting, archery, fancy dress, basketball and every other competition that can make children gear up were organized here. The two-day event organized by Education Asia concludes tomorrow with lot more fun and frolic for the children.
