Dayanidhi Gochhayat has been appointed as the new Superintendent of Police (SP) of Kendrapara district.

A notification in this regard was issued by the Home Department of Odisha government.

The appointment comes after former Kendrapara SP Nitinjeet Singh went on central deputation for four years on December 22.

Notably, Gochhayat is currently posted as Vigilance SP, Bhubaneswar Division.
