Delicious Odia cuisines on PM Modi’s platter during Odisha visit!

It’s a well known fact that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is strictly vegetarian and loves simple Gujarati food. However, exquisite Odia cuisines have been added to the menu to be served during his two-day visit to Odisha this month.

According to highly placed sources, chakuli, santula, saga muga, badi choora, panasa kattha, chhena jhili (Odia sweet dish made up of cheese), arisa peetha, poda peetha (pan cakes) will be part of the menu to be offered to the Prime Minister, among other mouth-watering delicacies.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting the state capital for the national executive meeting here on April 15 and 16.

On April 15, Modi will spent the night at Raj Bhawan and the following day he will attend the national executive meeting to be held at Janta Maidan here.

This apart, he is also scheduled to visit Puri to pay obeisance to Lord Jagannath.

“We have received the itinerary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Odisha visit. He will arrive here on April 15 and leave on the next evening. Elaborate arrangements will be put in place at airport, Raj Bhawan and the meeting venue,” Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi said after the meeting today.

DGP KB Singh, Director (Intelligence) Sunil Roy and Khurda District Collector Nirnajan Sahu among others today participated in a meeting on Prime Minister’s security arrangements.
