Dense fog reduces visibility in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack

Bhubaneswar: Dense fog blanketed several areas of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack cities this morning, thereby reducing visibility significantly.

Visibility reportedly got reduced to as low as 20-30 metres in some places of the two cities.

Commuters were seen driving their vehicles cautiously amid foggy conditions.

The Regional Meteorological Centre here has predicted that several districts of Odisha are likely to experience shallow to moderate fog tomorrow.

Shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Ganjam, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Khordha, Puri, Cuttack, Angul, Dhenkanal, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak and Jajpur, the Meteorological Centre forecasted.

There will be no large change in minimum temperature (night temperature) over the districts of Odisha during the next 4 to 5 days, it added.
