Depression: Heavy rainfall likely to lash these Odisha districts tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: Under the influence of the prevailing depression, several districts of Odisha are likely to experience heavy rainfall tomorrow.

Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Balasore, the Meteorological Centre here forecasted and issued Orange Warning for these districts.

Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nuapada, Bolangir, Sonepur, Boudh, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Kendrapara and Jagatsinghpur, it added and issued Yellow Warning for these districts.

The depression over coastal Odisha and neighbourhood has moved westwards and lay centered over the same region. It is likely to move west-northwestwards, maintain its intensity today and weaken gradually into a well-marked low pressure area over Chhattisgarh and neighbourhood tomorrow, the Meteorological Centre said in its evening bulletin.
