Despite seat hike, pvt medical college not admitting students; probe ordered

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Health Minister Naba Kisore Das today ordered a probe into the alleged non-admission of students in Hi-Tech Medical College & Hospital here despite increase in number of seats.

The minister has directed the concerned authorities to enquire into the allegations and submit report within three days. Necessary action will be taken after submission of the report, sources said.

As per the allegations, students are not being allowed to take admission into MBBS courses in the hiked seats in the medical college.
