Devotee collapses inside Puri Srimandir; dies

Puri: A devotee collapsed on premises of the Jagannath Temple in Puri and died after offering prayer to deities today.

The deceased has been identified as Manohar Lal, aged about 72 years, from Cuttack district.

According to reports, the septuagenarian fell unconscious while he was on his way back through Ghanti Dwar of Srimandir after paying obeisance to Almighty in the temple.

He was immediately rushed to a hospital in Puri where he was declared dead.
