New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today met Nick Clegg, President, Global Affairs, Meta, in New Delhi and held discussion regarding use of the company's technology in skill development.

Pradhan emphasized on the use of Meta's technology in skill development of the youth of Odisha as well as the country and advised Clegg to initiate efforts in this regard.

He also apprised Clegg about the scope for young entrepreneurs in growing their business by using Meta technology.

The minister presented Clegg a palm leaf painting (pattachitra) of Odisha and discussed about the art, culture and tradition of the state.

Pradhan said Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visionary National Education Policy encourages technology-based learning.

He also invited Meta to strengthen Digital India and Skill India initiatives.
