Cuttack: The Collector of Dhenkanal district, Bhumesh Chandra Behera, has been admitted to the ICU of Ashwini Hospital here.
However, he has been tested negative for COVID-19 in RT-PCR test.
The official took to Twitter today and informed that he has been hospitalised due to mild chest infection and his condition is stable now.

Sources said he visited Dhenkanal the Dhenkanal District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) yesterday for a health checkup and was diagnosed with chest infection. After preliminary treatment, doctors at the hospital referred him to Ashwini Hospital here.
Dhenkanal Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO) Sujatarani Mishra said the Collector has already been administered with both doses of COVID-19 vaccine. His RT-PCR report has also come out negative. After detection of mild chest infection, he has been sent to Ashwini for advance treatment, he added.
