DL, LL test to resume in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Skill test for DL and computerized LL test in Odisha, which was suspended due to the COVID-19 outbreak, will resume in the state.

K.C. Muduli, Under Secretary to Government, has written a letter in this regard to the Transport Commissioner, Odisha.

“I am directed to say that Government have been pleased to allow resumption of skill test for D.L. & computerized L.L test,” the official said in the letter.

“While conducting the above activity, safety protocols such as maintaining physical distancing, use of face mask, no spitting at public place etc. are to be maintained and guidelines issued by H&FW Department for work place need to be followed,” the official said.

The Transport Commissioner has been authorized to issue necessary operational guidelines for conduct of DL/LL test and decide the number of persons to be called for such test in a day in a staggered way keeping in view the physical distancing norms.

On the other hand, Transport Minister Padmanabha Behera today said the tests for DL and LL will commence within 2-3 days. Only 20 persons will be allowed to undergo the tests per day amid adherence to COVID-19 guidelines, he said.
