DLO arrested by Odisha Vigilance for taking Rs 40,000 bribe
Nuapada: Odisha Vigilance officials today arrested Nuapada District Labour Officer (DLO) Sarat Kumar Panigrahi for allegedly demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 40,000.
As per reports, the official had demanded Rs 200 each from 200 labourers for their registration. However, the registration fee fixed by the government is Rs 70 for each labourer.

Panigrahi had joined as Nuapada DLO on December 12, 2017.
