Doctor found dead inside house in Odisha’s Cuttack city

Cuttack: A doctor was found dead under mysterious circumstances inside a rented house in Chauliaganj area of Odisha’s Cuttack city, today.

The deceased was identified as M. Venkat Chandrasekhar. He was posted in Salepur and residing in the city.

As per the owner of the house, he detected foul smell emanating from the room. As attempts to contact the doctor were unsuccessful, the house owner, suspecting foul play, informed the police.

Cops found the body in a decomposed state and recovered it for post-mortem.

Police have started an investigation into the incident to ascertain the circumstances under which the doctor died.
