Cuttack: A doctor in Odisha today tested positive for COVID-19. As per reports, the doctor has been suffering from fever past few days.

The doctor, a Pediatrician at the City Hospital in Cuttack, has been admitted to the Ashwini COVID-19 hospital for he tested positive for the infection.

This is the first time a doctor in the State tested positive for the deadly COVID-19 virus.

So far, a total of 1517 persons in Odisha have tested positive for the deadly disease.
