Rourkela: Following the footsteps of the Berhampur Municipal Coporation, the Additional District Magistrate (ADM), Rourkela today announced to launch the doorstep vaccination drive in the steel city of Odisha.

The soon-to-be launched doorstep vaccination drive is meant for senior citizens and differently-abled persons who face difficulties to visit the vaccination centres, the ADM, Rourkela mentioned in a tweet.

Earlier in the day, the Berhampur Municipal Corporation began the ‘vaccination at doorstep’ initiative to administer Covid-19 vaccine to 70+ and those who are not able to walk or bedridden.

Persons above 70 years of age or not able to walk or bedridden can dial 7328099324 between 8 am and 12 noon and provide their details for booking. The ‘Vaccination at Doorstep’ vehicle will reach the houses of the persons next day, subject to availability of vaccine.
