DRDA clerk under Odisha Vigilance scanner

Bhawanipatna: Odisha Vigilance officials today raided multiple places in connection with allegation against Haraprasad Achari, senior clerk, Kalahandi DRDA regarding possession of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Sleuths of the anti-corruption agency conducted simultaneous raids at his residence at Ramanagarpada here, parental house at Mandara Bagichapada and office. As many as three teams of the Koraput Vigilance Division carried out the raids, during which cash, gold jewelleries and several documents were reportedly seized.

Till last reports came in, the raids were underway and calculation of the total value of his movable and immovable properties was yet to be completed.
