Dreaded criminal injured in police encounter in Odisha's Cuttack

Cuttack: A notorious criminal was injured in an encounter with police at Jagatpur in Odisha's Cuttack today.

Manoj Patra alias Amit, the criminal, sustained bullet injuries on his right leg and has been admitted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital here.

Acting on a tip-off, a joint team of Jagatpur police and Special Squad had tried to apprehend Manoj. Cops have seized a gun, two bullets, four cartridges and a car from his possession.
