Drugs-on-cruise case: Aryan Khan makes 1st appearance before NCB after bail

Bhubaneswar/Mumbai:  Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan on Friday appeared before the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) to mark his presence before the anti-drug agency, abiding by one of the bail conditions set by the Bombay High Court over the drugs-on-cruise case.

The 23-year old appeared before the NCB as he was instructed to do so between the time slab of 11 am and 2 pm today.

Aryan Khan was released on bail from Mumbai Arthur Road Prison on October 30 after staying behind bars for 22 days. He was detained by the central agency on charges of illegal drug deals and links with foreign cartel. Although no narcotic substances were found on him, he remained in jail as NCB presented his WhatsApp chats as proof of his alleged involvement.

Recenetly, the 23-year-old stepped out of jail after receiving Bombay High Court’s bail on 14 conditions one of which was he could not leave Mumbai and will have to appear before the NCB every Friday. This apart, Aryan has also been restricted from communicating with his friend and co-accused Arbaaz Merchant and interacting with media. His bail would be cancelled on NCB’s request if he failed to abide by any of the listed bail conditions.
