Bhubaneswar: Following incessant rainfall in several districts of Odisha due to Cyclone Jawad, dry weather is likely to prevail across the state from December 7, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasted.
While rainy weather prevails in coastal and adjoining districts, few places in north coastal Odisha may experience light rainfall today, the IMD said.
Weather across the state will remain dry from tomorrow, the agency said.
It further added that minimum temperature (night temperature) is very likely to fall gradually by 3-4°C in Odisha from today.
On the other hand, Umashankar Das, Scientist, Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar said the winter season for Odisha is likely to be warmer as it may experience above normal night temperature during December 2021 to February 2022.
