Cuttack: The Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Crime Branch today seized a huge quantity of duplicate tobacco materials weighing 1.5 quintal at Adaspur under Oltapur police limits in Cuttack district.

Acting on a tip-off about illegal storage, manufacture and selling of duplicate tobacco products, the STF conducted the crackdown and arrested one  Sanjay Kumar Sahoo of Sujan Nagar Patna, besides seizing the items.

A case under Section 379/411 of IPC and Section 20 of Copta Act was registered at Oltapur police station and investigation has already begun in this connection, said the police.
