Dutee Chand donates Rs 50,000 for FANI victims

Bhubaneswar: Sprinter Dutee Chand today donated Rs 50,000 to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for people affected by cyclonic storm FANI that devastated the state on May 3.

The athlete also took to social media and urged everyone to come forward to help the cyclone-affected. She also sought cooperation from all stakeholders to extend help to rebuild the state.

Meanwhile, state governments of Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala have donated for FANI victims while the Centre has announced financial assistance of around Rs 1,341 crore for the same.
