The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to short terminate and cancel some train services due to safety related modernization work in connection with commissioning of additional platforms at Bhubaneswar railway station from July 6 to 10.

As per the decision, 18412 Visakhapatnam-Bhubaneswar Inter City Express scheduled to leave Visakhapatnam from July 5 to 9 will be short terminated at Khordha Road and remain cancelled between Khordha Road and Bhubaneswar, while 18411 Bhubaneswar-Visakhapatnam Inter City Express will originate from Khordha Road instead of Bhubaneswar.

Besides, 78420/78419 Palasa-Bhubaneswar-Palasa Passenger will be short terminated at Khordha Road and remain cancelled between Khordha Road and Bhubaneswar from both the directions.

78412 Chhatrapur-Bhubaneswar Passenger will be short terminated at Khordha Road and will remain cancelled between Khordha Road and Bhubaneswar.

58001/58002 Howrah-Puri-Santragachhi Passenger will be short terminated at Kapilas Road and will remain cancelled between Kapilas Road and Puri from both the directions during the period.

58428/58426 Kendujhargarh-Bhubaneswar-Kendujhargarh Passenger and 58410/58407 Puri- Khordha Road-Puri Passenger will remain cancelled from both the directions, an ECoR release said today.
