ECoR cancels, diverts, short-terminates these trains passing through Odisha

Bhubaneswar: East Coast Railway (ECoR) today cancelled, short terminated and diverted some of the trains passing through Odisha, following the accident of two passenger trains between Kantakapalli (KPL)-Alamanda (ALM) Section in Waltair Division, an ECoR press release mentioned.

Cancellation of Trains:

1. The train No-08527 Raipur-Visakhapatnam passenger leaving Raipur on 30.10.2023 is cancelled.
2. The train No-08528 Visakhapatnam-Raipur Passenger leaving Visakhapatnam on 30.10.2023 is cancelled.

Diversion of Trains:

The following trains will run in a diverted route via Titlagarh-Raipur-Nagpur-Bllarsha-Vijayawada instead of the regular route Visakhapatanm-Vijayawada as per the details given below.

1. The train No-03357 Baruni-Coimbatore Special Express leaving Barauni on 28.10.2023 will run in a diverted route.
2. The train No-18189 Tata-Ernakulam Express leaving Tata on 29.10.2023 will run in a diverted route.
3. The train No-11020 Bhubaneswar-CST Mumbai-Konark Express leaving Bhubaneswar on 29.10.2023 will run in a diverted route.
4. The train No-12703 Howrah-Secundrabad Falknuma Express leaving Howrah on 29.10.2023 will run in a diverted route.
5. The train No-12245 Howrah-SVM Bengaluru Duranto Express leaving Howrah on 29.10.2023 will run in a diverted route.

Trains Short Termination:

1. 20809(SBP-NED) JCO: 29.10.2023 is short terminated at VZM and the train will return as passenger Special EX VZM TO SBP.
2. 17479(PURI-TPTY) JCO: 29.10.2023 is short terminated at BALU and the train will return as passenger Special EX BALU TO PURI.
3. 07468(VSKP-VZM) JCO: 29.10.2023 is short terminated at PDT and the train will return as passenger Special to VSKP.
4. 11019(CSMT-BBS) JCO: 28.10.2023 is short terminated at VSKP. The service between VSKP and BBS is cancelled.

Trains Short Origination:

11020(BBS-CSMT) JCO: 30.10.2023 is short originated at VSKP. The service between BBS and VSKP is cancelled.

“People are requested to note the changes and act accordingly,” Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of ECoR AK Tripathi said.
