ECoR extends services of special trains

In order to provide comfortable journey to the commuters and clear the huge wait list of passengers  during summer, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to extend the services of New Delhi and Yesvantpur bound special trains from Odisha’s capital city Bhubaneswar, a ECoR release said today.

As per the decision, the 02815 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi special train leaving Bhubaneswar at 0810hrs on every Sunday and arriving at New Delhi at 0605 hours on every Monday will run up to April 12 from Bhubaneswar.

In the return direction, the 02816 New Delhi-Bhubaneswar special train leaving New Delhi at 1300 hours on every Monday and arriving at Bhubaneswar at 1105 hours on every Tuesday will run up to April 13 from New Delhi having stoppages at Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore, Hijli, Bankura, Adra, Gomo, Gaya, Mughalsarai, Allahabad and Kanpur between Bhubaneswar and New Delhi.

The 02845 Bhubaneswar-Yesvantpur Special train leaving Bhubaneswar at 2300 hours on every Wednesday and arriving at Yesvantpur at 0500 hours on every Friday will run up to April 9 from Bhubaneswar.

In the return direction, the 02846 Yesvantpur-Bhubaneswar Special train leaving Yesvantpur at 1330 hours on every Friday and arriving at Bhubaneswar at 1925 hours on every Saturday will run up to April 11 from Yesvantpur having stoppages at Khurda Road, Balugaon, Brahmapur, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagram and Visakhapatnam in ECoR jurisdiction between Bhubaneswar and Yesvantpur.

The 07149 Secunderabad-Guwahati Special train will leave Secunderabad at 0730 hours on every Friday between April 11 and April 25 and arrive at Guwahati at 0755 hours on Sunday.

In the return direction, the train, having stoppages at Duvvada, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Palasa, Brahmapur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Bhadrak in East Coast Railway between Secunderabad and Tata, will leave Guwahati at 0600 hours on everyMonday between April 14 and April 28 and arrive at Secunderabad at 0915 hours on Wednesday

This apart, the 02727 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad special train will leave Visakhapatnam at 1905 hours on every Saturdaybetween April 19 and May 31 and arrive at Secunderabad at 0750 hours on the next day.

In the return direction, the special train will leave Secunderabad at 2210 hours on every Friday between April 18 and April 30 and arrive at Visakhapatnam at 1035 hours on the following day, an ECoR release said here today.
