ECoR to run weekly super fast train to Pune from Odisha to meet festival rush

With an aim to provide comfortable journey to commuters from Odisha and avoid rush in regular trains towards Pune and Bangalore due to heavy demand from passengers during the festival season, East Coast Rrailway (ECoR) has introduced a weekly premium special train from Bhubaneswar to Pune.

The new train, 02882 Bhubaneswar-Pune Premium Super Fast Special, will leave Bhubaneswar at 10.15 PM every Sunday and will arrive at Pune at 5 AM on Tuesdays till November 30.

In the return direction, the 02881 Pune-Bhubaneswar weekly premium super fast special train will leave Pune at 11.15 AM every Tuesday till December 2 and arrive at Bhubaneswar at 5.35 PM on Wednesdays during the period.

This train, with one AC-2 tier, one AC-3 tier, 10 sleeper class coaches, two guard-cum-luggage vans and one pantry car in its composition, has stoppages at Brahmapur, Vishakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Secunderabad and Wadi between Bhubaneswar and Pune from both the directions, an ECoR release said today.
