ECoR to run 5 special trains to avoid festive rush

Bhubaneswar: To avoid extra rush of passengers during the ensuing festive season, East Coast Railway (ECoR) is all set to run five additional special trains for different destinations for convenience of passengers.

The special trains are:  

Puri–Patna-Puri Special: The train will run from October 16 to October 31. It will leave Puri at 2.55 pm every Saturday and in the reverse direction, will depart from Patna at 1.45 pm every Sunday. The train will have 2nd AC, 3rd AC, Sleeper and General Class (Second Class Seating) coaches.

Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Special: The train will run from October 13 to October 28 leaving Visakhapatnam at 7 pm every Wednesday. In the reverse direction, it will leave Secunderabad at 7.40pm every Thursday. The train will have 3rd AC, Sleeper and General Class (Second Class Seating) coaches.

Visakhapatnam-Tirupati-Visakhapatnam Special: The train will run between October 18 and November 2 leaving Visakhapatnam at 7.15 pm every Monday. In the reverse direction, it will depart from Tirupati at 9.55 pm every Tuesday. The train will have the accommodation of 2nd AC, 3rd AC, Sleeper and General Class (Second Class Seating) coaches.

Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Special: The train will run from October 19 to November 3. It will depart from Visakhapatnam at 5.35 pm every Tuesday and at 9.05 pm from Secunderabad, in the reverse direction, every Wednesday. The train will have 2nd AC, 3rd AC, Sleeper and General Class (Second Class Seating) coaches.

Howrah-Puri–Howrah Special:  The train will run between October 9 and November 7, leaving Howrah at 8.35 pm every Saturday. In the reverse direction, the trains will depart from Puri at 7.20 pm every Sunday. The train will have the accommodation of Sleeper and General Class (Second Class Seating) coaches.
