Taking note of the positive response and feedback from the rail users and to provide comfortable journey to the passengers by avoiding rush in regular trains, East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to extend the services of Bhubaneswar-Patna, Puri-Santragachi, Sambalpur-Yesvantpur, Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad, Visakhapatnam-Tirupati and Visakhapatnam-Krishnarajpuram weekly Express Trains up to the last week of September 2015.

Apart from this, it has been decided to run bi-weekly Suvidha Special train between Bhubaneswar & Bangalore Cantt and weekly Suvidha Special train between Bhubaneswar and Pune till the last week of September 2015 for which a large number of berths have been created in these trains and passengers may avail the facility of the Bangalore-bound Suvidha Special trains to go to their destinations by avoiding rush in regular trains.

As per the schedule, 00851 Bhubaneswar-Bangalore Cantt bi-weekly Suvidha Special train will leave Bhubaneswar at 2250 hours on every Saturday and Wednesday and reach Bangalore Cantt at 2240 hours on the next day from July 1 to September 26. In the return direction, 00852 Bangalore Cantt-Bhubaneswar bi-Weekly Suvidha Special train will leave Bangalore Cant at 0100 hours on every Monday and Friday (just after midnight of Sunday and Thursday) and arrive Bhubaneswar at 0145 hours on the following day from July 3 to September 28.

This train will have stoppages at Brahmapur, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Renigunta and Jolarpettai between Bhubaneswar and Bangalore Cantt from both the directions.

02882 Bhubaneswar-Pune Weekly Suvidha Special train will leave Bhubaneswar at 2215 hours on every Sunday and reach Pune at 0500 hours on Tuesday from July 5 to September 27. In the return direction, 02881 Pune-Bhubaneswar Weekly Suvidha Special train will leave Pune at 1115 hours on every Tuesday and arrive Bhubaneswar at 1735 hours on Wednesdays from July 7 to September 29.

The train will have stoppages at Brahmapur, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Secunderabad and Solapur between Bhubaneswar and Pune.

08449 Bhubaneswar-Patna weekly special train leaving Bhubaneswar at 1530 hours on every Friday and reaching Patna at 1140 hours on Saturdays has been extended to run up to  September 25. In the return direction, 08450 Patna-Bhubaneswar weekly special train leaving Patna at 1400 hours on every Saturday and arriving Bhubaneswar at 0700 hours on Sundays has been extended to run up to September 26 with stoppages at Cuttack, Jajpur-Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Balasore, Hijli, Adra, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, Mokama and Fathuha between Bhubaneswar and Patna.

08401 Puri-Santragachhi weekly special train leaving Puri at 2125 25 hours on every Friday and reaching Santragachhi at 0630 hours on Saturdays has been extended to run up to September 25. In the return direction, 08402 Santragachhi-Puri weekly special train leaving Santragachhi at 1900 hours on every Saturday and arriving Puri at 0400 hours on Sundays has been extended to run up to September 26.

The train will have stoppages at Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur-Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Balasore and Kharagpur between Puri and Santragachhi.

08301 Sambalpur-Yesvantpur weekly special train leaving Sambalpur at 0850hrs hours on every Wednesday and reaching Yesvantpur at 1630 hours on Thursdays has been extended to run up to September 23. In the return direction, 08302 Yesvantpur-Sambalpur weekly special train leaving Yesvantpur at 0030 hours on every Friday  (mid night of Thursday) and arriving Sambalpur at 0615 hours on Saturdays has been extended to run up to September 25 with stoppages at Bargarh Road, Balangir, Titlagarh, Kesinga, Muniguda, Rayagada, Parvatipuram, Bobbili, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam in ECoR jurisdiction between Sambalpur and Yesvantpur.

08501 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad weekly special train leaving Visakhapatnam at 2300 hours on every Tuesday and reaching Secunderabad at 1145 hours on Wednesdays has been extended to run up to September 29. In the return direction, 08502 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam weekly special train leaving Secunderabad at 1630 hours on every Wednesday and arriving Visakhapatnam at 0630 hours on Thursdays has been extended to run up to September 30.

02873 Visakhapatnam-Tirupati weekly special train leaving Visakhapatnam at 1645 hours on every Monday and reaching Tirupati at 0435 hours on Tuesdays has been extended to run up to September 28. In the return direction, 02874 Tirupati-Visakhapatnam weekly special train leaving Tirupati at 1600 hours on every Tuesday and arriving Visakhapatnam at 0515 hours on Wednesdays has been extended to run up to September 29.

02877 Visakhapatnam-Krishnarajpuram bi-weekly special train leaving Visakhapatnam at 1900 hours on every Wednesdays and Saturdays and reaching Krishnarajpuram at 1400 hours on the following days has been extended to run up to September 30. In the return direction, 02878 Krishnarajpuram-Visakhapatnam bi-weekly special train leaving Krishnarajpuram at 1710 hours on Thursdays and Sundays  and arriving Visakhapatnam at 1225 hours on the next days has been extended to run up to October 1, an ECoR release said today.
