ECoR to run special trains to clear festive rush

Bhubaneswar: In order to clear extra rush during the Dussehra festival, the Railway authorities have decided to run a few special trains from the jurisdiction of East Coast Railway (ECoR) to different parts of the country.

The Railway authorities have decided to run special trains between Puri-Sealdah, Bhubaneswar-Tirupati, Puri-Santragachhi, Bhubaneswar-Dhanbad, Puri-Patna, Brahmapur-Nanded, Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad, Visakhapatnam-Mahbubnagar, Visakhapatnam-Bengaluru, Visakhapatnam-Tirupati and Visakhapatnam-Araku.

Sealdah-Puri-Sealdah Special:  

Sealdah-Puri Special Express (03101) will leave Sealdah at 2350hrs (11.50 pm) on Saturday from October 1 to 29. Puri-Sealdah Special Express (03102) will leave Puri at 1550hrs (3.50 pm) on Sunday from October 2nd to 30. This train will have stoppages at Bhattanagar, Andul, Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Khurda Road from both directions.

Bhubaneswar-Tirupati-Bhubaneswar Special:

Bhubaneswar-Tirupati Special Super Fast Express (02809) will leave Bhubaneswar at 1330hrs (1.30 pm) on Saturday from October 1 to 29. Tirupati-Bhubaneswar Special Super Fast Express (02810) will leave Tirupati at 2000hrs (8.00 pm) on Sunday from October 2 to 30.

Santragachhi-Puri Special:

Santragachhi-Puri Special Super Fast Express (02837) will leave Santragachhi at 2035hrs (8.35 pm) on Friday from September 30 to October 28. Puri-Santragachhi Special Super Fast Express (02838) will leave Puri at 1920hrs (7.20 pm) on Saturday from October 1 to 29.

Bhubaneswar-Dhanbad-Bhubaneswar Special:

Bhubaneswar-Dhanbad Special Express (02832) will leave Bhubaneswar at 2025hrs (8.25 pm) on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday till December 30. Dhanbad-Bhubaneswar Special Express (02831) will leave Dhanbad at 1600hrs (4.00 pm) on Wednesday, Saturday and Monday till December 31. This train will make stoppages at Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Talcher Road, Angul, Sambalpur City, Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Hatia, Ranchi, Muri and Bokaro Steel City from both directions.

Puri-Patna-Puri Special:

Puri-Patna Special Express (08439) will leave Puri at 1455hrs (2.55 pm) on Saturday till November 26. Patna-Puri Special Express (08440) will leave Patna at 1330hrs (1.30 pm) on Sunday till November 27. This train will have stoppages at Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore, Hijli, Adra, Asansol, Jasidih, Jhajha and Kiul from both directions.

Patna-Puri Special Express (03230) will leave Patna at 0845hrs (8.45 am) on Thursday from October 27 to November 10. Puri-Patna Special Express (03229) will leave Puri at 1455hrs (2.55 pm) on Friday from October 28 to November 11. This train will have stoppages at Bakhtiyarpur, Barh, Mokama, Kiul, Jhajha, Jasidih, Madhupur, Chittaranjan, Asansol, Adra, Bankura, Midnapur, Hijli, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Khurda Road from both directions.

Nanded-Brahmapur-Nanded Special:

Nanded-Brahmapur Special Express (07431) will leave Nanded at 1525hrs (3.25 pm) on Saturday from October 1 to 8. Brahmapur-Nanded Special Express (07432) will leave Brahmapur at 1630hrs (4.30 pm) on Sunday from October 2 to 9.

Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Special:

Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Special Express (08579) will leave Visakhapatnam at 1900hrs (7.00 pm) on Wednesday from October 5 to 26. Similarly, Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Special Express (08580) will leave Secunderabad at 1940hrs (7.40 pm) on Thursday from October 6 to 27.

Visakhapatnam-Mahbubnagar Special:

Visakhapatnam-Mahbubnagar Special Express (08585) will leave Visakhapatnam at 1735hrs (5.35 pm) on Tuesday from October 4 to 25. Similarly, Mahbubnagar-Visakhapatnam Special Express (08586) will leave Mahbubnagar at 1820hrs (6.20 pm) on Wednesday from October 5 to 26.

Visakhapatnam-Bengaluru Cant.-Visakhapatnam Sepcial:

Visakhapatnam-Bengaluru Cant. Super Fast Special Express (08543) will leave Visakhapatnam at 1555hrs (3.55 pm) on Sunday from October 2 to 30. Bengaluru Cant-Visakhapatnam Super Fast Special Express (08544) will leave Bengaluru Cant. at 1550hrs (3.50 pm) on Monday from October 3 to 31.

Visakhapatnam-Tirupati-Visakhapatnam Special:

Visakhapatnam-Tirupati Special Express (08583) will leave Visakhapatnam at 1910hrs (7.10 pm) on Monday from October 3 to 31. Tirupati-Visakhapatnam Special Express (08584) will leave Tirupati at 2155hrs (9.55 pm) on Tuesday from October 4 to November 1.

Visakhapatnam-Araku Special:

Visakhapatnam-Araku-Visakhapatnam Special Express (08509/08510) will leave Visakhapatnam at 0830hrs (8.30 am) and leave Araku at 1400hrs (2.00 pm) from October 1 to 9 from both directions.
