In a significant development, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) today attached properties worth Rs 8.20 crore belonging to notorious gangster Dhalsamant brothers (D-brothers)-Sushant and Sushil Dhalsamant of Odisha’s Cuttack, revealed ED sources.

The attached properties include the gangster brothers’ house in CDA area of Cuttack, the sources added.
The ED has also confiscated bank deposits to the tune of Rs 3.5 crore held by the two brothers and Rs 3.6 crore seized by the police at the time of their arrest, the sources further added.
The Dhalsamant brothers are now lodged in two separate jails in Odisha since 2016. For the last few days, the brothers and their arrested accomplices were grilled by ED sleuths.
